Social Media: Blogging as a Teaching Tool / Chris Gampat, B&H

Chris Gampat is the Lead Writer for BHInsights.com and the Editor in Chief of ThePhoblographer.com.He’s been a photography and technology blogger for years and has written for PCMag.com, DigitalCameraReview.com, PhotographyBay.com, Geek.com and others. Chris has also had work published in the NYTimes, Gizmodo, Boston Globe, and others. He often talks and helps other visually impaired photographers deal with the challenges they face in the photography world.

Joey Quintero, B&H

Joey Quintero was born in Tucson Arizona, and schooled as a chemist. Joey is known for his critical eye and applies his technical drive with his passion for photography. The creative process was exposed to him at an early age, having grown up on movie Sets, while helping his chef father cater for the Stars. He would sneak away to lend a helping hand to the Camera Operators and crew. Over the years, he got hooked! Joey shoots for top independent Fashion Designers, and Look Books in New York City. In addition, Joey also enjoys sharing and teaching at lectures and workshops and currently offers his expertise in research to help produce and manufacture photo related products geared for the amateur to professional photographer.

Nick LaBorne, B&H NEW SPEAKER!

Nick LaBorne is a Producer / Director / Editor and Sr. Engineer with over 35 years in the field. His production experience includes News, Sports Magazine formats, Election Coverage and Live Television Events. His Engineering experience include design of Major Television Studios, 5.1 Audio facilities, Post Production Edit suites, Remote Trucks and On Air Operation centers. Nick designed and built television facilities for over seven New York City Schools. He was VP of Engineering and General Manager for Major NYC Post Production facilities. Nick is the winner of an Emmy for News and 2 Ace awards for Programming. He attended NYIT and holds a BFA in Communication Arts and a M.S in Television and Multimedia Engineering from Concordia. Nick is also a Volunteer Firefighter and Paramedic for over 30 years.
